Bradley Birmingham
This prominent national law firm’s home office expresses timeless elegance with a transitional aesthetic and refined palette
Bradley’s office in a landmark downtown building was redesigned to reflect the firm’s reputation for skill, service, and integrity in a clean, sophisticated space that maximizes operational efficiency. Retained throughout the 140,500sf space, existing wood floors and black marble accents anchor the design. On the public floor, the firm’s Birmingham roots are honored with locally sourced materials like blackened steel and Alabama white marble. A custom blackened steel sculptural map highlighting its national reach and office locations serves as a backdrop for reception seating. Generous circulation areas and wide corridors with collaborative nooks surrounding multimedia conference rooms create a gallery-like setting to display Bradley’s impressive art collection. Expansive glazed walls bring dramatic skyline views deep into the interior spaces. On the administrative and attorney floors, departmental functions were reorganized to simplify workflow, with technology-enhanced collaborative zones and coffee bars replacing obsolete file rooms. Seven of the firm’s 8 floors were renovated.
