This self-contained cancer treatment center in Huntsville offers a calming and friendly environment for patients and their families throughout the healing process.  Patient flow and treatment are emphasized in an environment that stimulates and soothes the senses with gardens and water features while easing the wayfinding process by combining a mix of materials and textures with color-coded doctors’ pods.  The spacious, light-filled lobby offers expansive views of the exterior landscaping and water features.  Major components of the 114,000sf facility include radiation oncology with linear accelerators, PET, MRI and imaging, chemotherapy with infusion areas, physician pods with exam rooms and nursing areas, blood bank and lab, a library, and a research facility.
