Ferguson Center Complex at the University of Alabama
The heart of the University of Alabama campus
Phased over 5 years, the project encompassed renovations and additions to the existing Ferguson Center Student Union and a new student services / classroom building with structured parking. Components include: a 60,000sf new Student Services & Classroom building centralizing all student-related administrative functions; a 4-level, 500-space, brick-clad parking deck connected by a pedestrian bridge to the other buildings in the complex; a comprehensive interior renovation of and 26,000sf addition to the existing Ferguson Center student union and a new pedestrian plaza; and transformation of the former student union into the Ferguson Food Court, a contemporary multi-restaurant food court seating 450.
