USA Health | Fairhope Ambulatory Surgery Center

This new ambulatory surgery center will also be used as a training site for students at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine

Developed by Harrod Healthcare Real Estate for USA Health, this new ambulatory surgery center is located on an 8-acre healthcare campus with a medical office building, water features, walking paths, an amphitheater, and other outdoor amenities.  Surgeons in pediatrics, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, and other specialties will operate at the 24,020sf facility, which features 6 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 14 pre-op bays, and 13 recovery rooms.  Incorporating some of the most technologically advanced surgical equipment and robotics, it will also serve as an educational site for students from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine to train in the use of minimally invasive techniques and cutting-edge technologies to improve patient outcomes.  The design of the single-story, freestanding building’s core and shell was based on design guidelines from the USA campus architect.
